Well I made it along and he brought the camera with a flat battery in it …chew the camera… and I’ve had to do a bit of Photoshop to get me in the picture. My Vet looked nicer than this fake one I found on the Internet but isn’t life like that anyway? Anyway the Vet was lovely and she told him that they wanted to chip me through the back out of site …chew the needle… He said he understood and like the yellow bellied custard that he is, he opted to not watch saying “You can be the bad guy” and let me go off to be probed by the big needle but I was sure there would be a treat in it somewhere. there was the last time …biscuits biscuits biscuits…
It was over before we knew it and the Vet was amazed at how well I handled myself. Didn’t even flinch they said and well, that’s me, but the truth is that when I was here the last time the clicker went off just as the needle went in and I wasn’t bothered because of the clicker it all seemed good and so well done him for thinking ahead.
I met other dogs there and had a great time. He said that I was amazing cos I was sitting tall and proud watching what was going on. There were some dogs growling and barking with insecurity but I stayed calm smelled them all and watched. He was pretty proud because I could tell by the big grin on his face. I met really cool massive dog who I thought was big enough to eat me for breakfast but he was really nice and said hello and seemed to like me and I liked him.
I met a dog with three legs and she was a nice dog …tripod tripod what a name… and lots of people wanted to say hello and coo in that high pitched sugary tone of awes and coo’s. Made me feel great and my tail was up high and wagging proudly.
Well the last week dragged for him and all I could do is watch him looking out the window longingly “we’ll go for a walk soon” he kept saying. I thought it was the balcony so I kept trying to get him to take me out. Maybe cheer him up after being cooped up with me. …chew sticks…
My fetch on the balcony has become legendary and it’s a fact I am out growing it and needing more room to try these super puppy legs I’v got. …chase my tail… more to come on that!
So a lot has happened since going to the vet and I’ll tell you about it all in the next blog …chew the laptop…
